snowed in

Its been snowing non stop at a steady pace since last night. My car is covered in almost an 8” blanket of snow. It’s a beautiful sight if you are just there to enjoy it and not have to work, but for those who have to make a commute or say drive around in this weather.

I have some tips –

Don’t Drive

Don’t Drive

Work from home

Take the day off!

I do have some pictures to display here, but somehow am not able to figure out how to connect my computer Bluetooth with my phone…

Will keep trying and then hopefully will be able to post something here.

Some people I have known are always on an emotional high J nice!

I am finding this increased awareness and understanding of alcohol – very powerful and refreshing! I am not drinking any and working with this great person – who knows all about is – is a wonderful opportunity for me. We are a team – I try to understand and prepare the concoctions and he tastes. Works purrfecct – hick*

PS – I need some answers and some clear cut responses, may be I should get them slam dunk drunk to get them to share what’s going on inside. Dirty tactics never work…

I will share my travelogue here sometime soon.  And if you are reading this – do leave a msg, I might pour in something worthwhile :-)

:-)

Today, I just want to tell u that you are one of the nicest persons who ever drew a breath of air. You are an asset to your profession and a credit to your community. U are the kind of person I like to spend time with cuz every time I am around you I feel inspired and motivated to do a better job . I wish I could hear or see you more frequently cuz you motivate me to be my best self. That’s all I wanted to say…

You rock!

Start my own chapter

I don’t have the vaguest and freakiest idea as on what to do. On top of that, its not my forte. More so, I hardly know any one in the area who might be interested.

I survived week 1 and breezed through week 2 at work. Things are settling down now. I still don’t know any of the desi folks around here. All my friends so far are my landlady and her daughter, did I mention we went on a crazy shopping spree, it was just so much fun I got a whole new wardrobe for myself. Yesterday was spent in a complete vegetative stage – pls do pardon the pun, but didn’t do anything at all. Can you believe that – huh! But today has to be different – I need to get out and see around the place a little bit. But I wonder if I will make any acquaintances here – but then again, I already have a few work colleagues who are very nice and friendly. Lets see how things unfold but I want to visit new york before I move back to good ol texas. I will cuz its only and hr south of here…

Can you believe that I have homework from work…. I do need to update my lab notebook, this is like a dream I think.  And sometimes I think I am such an individualist huh!

My land lady brought an angel charm to hang in my car, that’s so nice of her – its cute J Thank you Arlene!

Are you a retard??

Whew! .. .well, I must say – it’s east side!

People don’t like southerners, but they are a little more polite – but seems to me that stress and the rising cost of living has taken the toll on the so called populace here. but its expensive here.

All I would like to mention here is – pick your battle’s wisely, and let go, save the energy.

O btw – I am staying at an angel place.  Today, I got my first rental car, and with numerous prayers managed to somehow get guided home in one piece, drove on I-95, thank god for tomtom and u, Chachaji for giving it to me.  Well it takes a while, to get used to everything, and its been only 2 days now.

Tomorrow, I hope to make a trip to some shopping center, groceries etc…. hope to get in touch with some nice folks in this area. I am interestingly only an hr away from ny. But the idea of exploring ny by myself isn’t very appealing at this tim.. but lets see, this year

Well, I m colored – happened to watch the vedio of Gandhi – back to third class – it applies to some extent in this side of the states anyways.

I am actually about to propose having two things to override that – money and /or power.  And yes, I came to an interesting conclusion in a thought that i have been musing on – success is highly saught after , in the business sphere – your knowledge and understanding of the finances – might hold some trump, time to get going

I am thankful for the little warming in the area. And I got complemented on my parking skills – I didn’t do it , it just happened, I got honked on at the traffic light  - did I mention I had a siren thrown at me while I was going on county line to old canton.. huh, with family u just take things so easy, but when you are alone – its just a different life – I think I can never get used to it, but as if I have a choice.

Oh, I need to make a mention of a person I have known nearly 8 years, well I will not be wasting anymore of my time or thoughts on idle chit chat.  Some things are best left unsaid and avoided if possible.  And yes, my land lady is an interesting study, spiritual, funny and crazy, but so far she seems open n nice – that’s all for now.

My next post might have some more elaborations if something comes up
