SORAT’H: ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. BY THE GRACE OF THE TRUE GURU:
Practicing great hypocrisy, he acquires the wealth of others. Returning home, he squanders it on his wife and children. 1 O my mind, do not practice deception, even inadvertently. In the end, your own soul shall have to answer for its account. 1 Pause Moment by moment, the body is wearing away, and old age is asserting itself. And then, when you are old, no one shall pour water into your cup. 2 Says Kabeer, no one belongs to you. Why not chant the Lord’s Name in your heart, when you are still young?39

letter to a friend from a friend

Dear _______,

hey i never meant u to postpone things every now and then..delay the most arduous of tasks..extend the deadlines beyond the last date!
...i just meant- to set ur priorities and leave the junk for later!

"There Always exists one more chance for survival"..coz mistakes r embarrasing when they happen...but yrs later, u have a collection of mistakes called experience, which leads u to success!
God will never leave u empty,he will replace everything u lose. if he asks u to put something down, its b'coz he wants u to pick something much better!

"To keep the spirits high when people around you consider you no good"...coz the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of style...swim with the current..but in the matter of principles, stand like a stone!
happiness keeps u sweet,trials keep u strong,sorrow keeps u human;failure keeps u humble,success keeps u glowing,but only GOD keeps u going!
have faith in GOD and be working sincerely...nothing wrong will happen to u ever!

"how much fun it is to fight back"...being a friend is not just sharing a joke, a conversation, a funny story. it means sharing a part of urself, the most honest and true part!
most friendships are like delicate flower, eventually they dry and die. i m however a cactus; i will always be poking u so that u remember me always;-)..as there are only two people who can tell u the truth about urself-an enemy who lost his temper and a friend who loves u dearly!..and u are very dear to me!!!

"patience and humbleness are the two most important things when the chips are down"..coz every bad situation will have something positive...even a stopped clock shows correct time twice a day...so be positive!
winning horse doesnt know why it runs in race,it runs b'coz of beats and pain.life is a race;GOD is ur rider,so if u in pain then think,GOD wants u to win the race!

hey the start is always tough but u have already made it....now just be moving!

all the best dear!

It is not so much what is on the table that matters, as what is on the chairs.

To love a person is to learn the song that is in their heart, and to sing it to them when they have forgotten. Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.

True love cannot be found where it truly does not exist, nor can it be hidden where it truly does. "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." - Lao Tzu

"You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly." - Sam Keen

"The three hardest tasks in the world are neither physical feats nor intellectual achievements, but moral acts: 1) To return love for hate; 2) To include the excluded; and 3) To say 'I was wrong." - Ernst Heinrich Haeckel

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

Dear Preet
Today, I want to share a story with you. A colleague at work forwarded it to me.

Do read on ...

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.

Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you. He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.' Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt. As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid. Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way. He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, 'And think of me.' He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight. A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn' t erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan . After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin. There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: 'You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.' Under the napkin were four more $100 bills. Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard.... She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, 'Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.'

There is an old saying 'What goes around comes around.' Today I sent you this story, and I'm asking you to pass it on. Let this light shine.

Simply, pass this on to a friend - Good friends are like stars....You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

To Preet

I shall be addressing all my posts to Preet – it just is more appealing to be addressing my scriblings to a figmental amigo in my blogsphere. At this moment... since i am usually outpouring my thoughts here. Its really funny - I am an open book - my friends usually know the big picture regarding all thats going on with me and my life: - but still the finer details are shared with a previlaged few as is the case with everyone. Its just a lot more refreshing and less painful .. as I may not have time for Preet at time but Preet will be there always...so I decided to share this blog journey with Preet...

So how was my day today? It was as usual – I was kind of nervous regarding my presentation but it was ok … seaapa nibrea - and here at some point of time I was contemplating doing mba.. huh… I would not have been able to survive the daily grind- and as its said “ all that happens…… “

I have been unable to synchronize my biological clock with the time savings – it seems to have a time setting of its own – seems to me its trying get additional 2 hrs of sleep, as a result I keep hitting on snooze and discharging my phone in the process – huh.

O I don’t really want to be so cold – when will the weather be warm – I need a camera – wish to sight see – key areas Boston, providence, ny and Greenwich… lets see when it will happen – I ve atleast set foot in more than 2 places already so … don’t have anything mentionable for my travelogue though.

Ok if I don’t stop now I am gonna b late 4 work!

fuel lid

Hey – I felt good today, as I was able to bring to the attention of the driver ahead of me that they had forgotten to put the lid back on their fuel tank after an obvious trip to the gas station- the poor thing was hanging by the side. With this painful inc in gas prices and inflation its gonna be hard for anyone. The challenge was however – how to attract the attention of someone driving ahead of me as blowing horn is nearly obscene – so I used the high beam flash – fortunately she noticed – and guess what she even thanked me and me is full of *smiles* . i was successful in this "mission attention" - small successes bring joy in everyday life.

Ok, I have a presentation to prepare for ! – oh btw I just finished the rajmah chawal/ at work a coworker treated me to three layered cake – ooh it was heavenly – chocolate/coconut /walnut – I’ll have to bribe her for the recepie … I am mentioning it here so that I can remember. Full day in training at work.

march 10

I have a presentation to get ready – with the VP of RD … last night I had a terrible headache! It hurt to talk/listen – may be I was just stressed out. Whew! Wonder if I was having a migrane attack – the ache was on the forehead – particularly in the region b/w the brows .. huh may be I should Google it or something.

I attended on of the most entertaining but decidedly hazy  town hall meetings from the president of the company – it was almost a shame they kept us in the office to listen to jibber jabber – literally : (  - to me all that really doesn’t soak in much , to be honest, huh!

One of my dear cousins wrote to me such a wonderful email – I love to hear from her but its just so refreshing how original and entertaining her emails can be ! I feel I have to write back  and make an attempt to be verbose but I can’t even come close! Its embarrassing on my part.

I for the first time did some substantial charity work from my own income ~ mixed feelings ~ had always wanted to do that – also donated a part of my beautiful mane, they use that to make wigs for children surviving cancer , oh the world is so full of bigger things than my lil problems

The Key to Really Improving Your Life

How to Really Improve Your Life

by Raymond David Salas

Is it possible to really improve your life by simply asking one question?

Furthermore, is it possible for this one question to hold incredible power for transforming and improving your life?

Without any doubt, my answer is “Yes.”

Improving Your Life Through Deliberate Conscious Creation

So, what is this powerful, life-altering question?

Well, before I reveal it, let's review how most deliberate, “conscious” creators and Law of Attraction students attempt to change and improve their life:

·         Decide what you want.

·         Feel the feelings and emotions of having it now.

·         Keep your energy, attention, and focus on what you want (ignoring what you don't want).

·         Take inspired action.

Sound familiar?

As one who has practiced and applied this formula many times over the years, I can tell you firsthand (as you may already know) that the results can be mixed at best. Sometimes, you do get what you want. Sometimes, you don't. Other times, you get what you thought that you wanted, only to discover that it doesn't bring you the joy that you thought it would. Can you relate?

How to Really Improve Your Life

Is there another way to bypass this “hit and miss” approach and really improve your life?

I believe there is.

It all starts by asking a powerful, life-changing question.

So, what is it?

The powerful, life-changing question is asking your Higher Self (within you) daily: “What do You want for me today?”

Why is this question so powerful?

Because what your Higher Self wants for you is so much greater than what you want and can accept for yourself. Your Highest Self wants nothing less for you than your greatest joy every moment of every day.

As A Course In Miracles reminds us: “God's Will for you is perfect happiness.”

The key here is that God, your Higher Self within, not only wants this for you, but also knows how to get it.

How cool is that?

The Power of Daily Surrender

Now that you know the one question that can really improve your life, my recommendation is to ask your Higher Self this question every day.

Here's how:

Begin your day by saying to your Higher Self, with an attitude of surrender, this daily prayer (or something similar):

Higher Self,

I surrender this day and my life to You now.

What do You want for me today?

How do You see me and this day today?

How do You want to express Yourself through me and my life today?

For the answers to these and all of my questions, I say “You decide for me.”

Of myself, I can do nothing.

You decide for me.

Where will You have me go today?

What will You have me do?

What will You have say?

You decide for me.

I surrender all of this to You now.

I surrender to Your Will.

I surrender to Your Love.

I surrender to Your Guidance.

Thank You.

Amen.

In addition, as you meditate daily for 10-15 minutes, you can take slow, deep breaths and mentally repeat the word “surrender” every time you exhale. A variation of this is to take a “walking meditation” for thirty minutes where you consciously breathe while walking outdoors and mentally repeating the word “surrender” as you exhale.

Also, throughout the day, whenever you have a challenge or problem...or feel out of your flow...or you're not feeling good for any reason...or your peace is disturbed in any other way, simply take 2-3 slow, deep breaths and again mentally repeat the word “surrender” as you exhale while letting go mentally, emotionally, and physically. This will release any resistance within you and bring you back into a peaceful balance and joyful center.

I have found that asking my Higher Self “What do You want for me today” and practicing surrender daily has not only improved my life dramatically in all areas, but has also literally brought miracles to my life.

The only question remains: “Are you ready to really start improving your life right now?”

If so, you now have the key.
